Windows 10: 4k desktop is cut on the horizontal sides

I'm using LG OLED C8. When I set the resolution to 3840, there is black patch on left and right even though the tv's resolution is 3840. When I set it to 4160, it doesn't cut on sides but all fullscreen apps are then cut on the side (like watching videos on youtube). Tried nvidia resize desktop. It's at the limit in both cases.

Cannot put icons on the left side of my desktop

Hi Charlie,

You should be able to arrange your desktop icons however you want. Since you want them all aligned on the left side of your desktop screen, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Right-click at a blank area on your desktop.
• Hover on View.
• In the right pane, look for Auto arrange icons. If it's checked, make sure to uncheck it.
• Hover again on View.
• This time, check Align icons to grid. Your icons should now be aligned on the left side of the screen.

Does Miracast support 4K?

We suggest that you check with the manufacturer of the 4k display device that you are using if it is certified to work with Miracast. If your display device is certified to work with Miracast, then check if your PC device supports Miracast. You may do so
by following the steps below:

• Click Start, then go to Settings >
  Projecting to this PC.
• Check if your device supports Miracast.

Image size in Internet Explorer & Edge on 4K display

I have a Windows 10 machine connected to a 4K display, the display scaling is set to 200%.

When opening a 3840x2160 image in a new tab, or from the desktop using IE or Edge, the image is shown fitted to screen. However, if I click on the image (with the + looking glass), the image is stretched to 4x times the original size, outside the screen,
with scroll bars appearing on all sides.

Is this the intended behavior? Can I set the browser to show the image pixel-to-pixel so it fits to the screen without the horizontal scroll bar?
