    5.1 channels sound doesnt work


    Hi.I have a ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING mobo and I connected a 5.1 sound system to onboard audio. I connect everything as mentioned on mobo manual, drivers up to date from ASUS website, but I dont have 5.1 sound. Only front speakers left/right are working. I configured on 5.1 channels on Audio settings, when I test the 5.1 channel on Speaker Setup, I got sound on every speaker front/rear/center-sub, but when I play a music youtube or everything else, only front speakers are working.If I go to Speakers Properties and hit "Enable audio enhancements" under the Signal Enhancements, every

    no sound and troubleshooting doesnt work

    i have logitech g633 headset and its listed no errors but no sound and troubleshooting doesnt work, i've triend many thing but nothing seems to work can anyone help me?

    and if i go to sound the bar doesnt show any green bars when i play youtube or music.

    One thing that sticks out from looking at your "My Computer" specs. You list "ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)" which suggests you do not have the correct sound hardware driver. Your motherboard has Realtek sound and the first step is to install the Realtek sound drivers. My ASUS also came with Sonic Studio 2 which is a sound enhancement package. Check the ASUS install disc to see if you have something similar.

    May not be a speaker problem.

    Hi,

    I understand that 5.1 channel over SPDIF/Optical not working after update.

    I suggest you to try the following methods and check:

    Method 1: Update your audio driver

      1. Select the Start button and type
        device manager in the search box, then select it from the list of results.
      2. Select the arrow next to Sound, video and game controllers to expand it.
      3. Right-click (or press and hold) your sound card, then select
        Properties.
      4. Select the Driver
        tab, and then select Update Driver.
      5. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, look for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

    Method 2: Fix sound problems.

    Suggest you to refer the article Fix sound problems
    in Windows 10    .
