    5.1 HDMI Soundbar is being recognized as a Stereo soundbar after turning the soundbar off...


    So, I accidentally turning the soundbar off using my phone instead of muting it when I'm falling asleep. After turning it back on, it's only recognized as a Stereo one.

    Visio 5.1.2 dobly atmos soundbar, connected to a gtx 1080 via HDMI, while 2 acer monitor is connected via display ports. Also the name of the device changed from " Visio something" to "Acer something".

    I tried uninstall the device from Device Manager and refresh, but It's still an "acer speaker"

    I'm on an insider build, but this problem happened before when I'm on the official build. At that time, I resort to Window recovery.

    Also, the soundbar is being recognized as a monitor and my mouse would go missing sometimes.

    I hope someone from nvidia or windows team is reading this and have a fix soon, It is so annoying.

    the drivers in my Definitive Technology soundbar are 3 1/4" so..
