  1. 5.25 Media Dashboard Card Reader not working after accidentally removing it from devices...

While doing some work through devices and printers, I accidentally removed a device I did not intend to remove and now I have no idea how to have it detected again so any help at all would be nice! I tried updating the drivers, I tried uninstalling them and retrying, and so on! This is the card reader in question in case anyone has a driver I can use! https://www.amazon.com/Agile-shop-M...1XYY8QKPQ943&refRID=2QQD9T841XYY8QKPQ943&th=1

  2. Media Card Reader not working

Since updating my device from Windows 7 to Win10, I've not been able to utilise my media card reader. It never seems to recognise when a media card has been inserted.

I have a HP Pavillion Media Centre PC which i have updated a few things on before upgrading to Win10. I have an MSI MS-7A39 system.

Can someone please advise on how i get the media card slots working. When i take a media card out of the slot, a notification pops up in bottom right

"Removable Disk (F5.25 Media Dashboard Card Reader not working after accidentally removing it from devices... :)

Select what happens with removable drives"

When i click on it, the only option is Configure storage settings. Upon clicking, i get an error dialog saying

    "F:\

    The directory name is invalid"

This is annoying me as i can't seem to get my dashcam videos onto my PC, so much that I purchased a fujifilm media card reader only for that to also not work, was told to run the hardware troubleshooter in order to get the appropriate driver for the device,
but i no longer have the hardware troubleshooter.

  3. SD card reader isn’t working properly

    Hi Rachel,

I suggest you to try removing and reinstall your SD card reader. TO do so, you have to:

    1. Right click on Windows logo

    2. Select "Device Manager"

    3. Click on "Memory technology devices"

    4. Right click on your SD card reader

    5. Click on "Remove device" ("Uninstall device")

    6. Click on "Detects hardware changes"

Then try explore the SD card.

    Media Card Reader not working

Hi I'm Peter an independent advisor, you can update the driver driver for the media card reader by clicking Start and typing in device manager or left click on the bottom left near the start button and select device manager from the list. You could also
double check the HP support website to see if they have updated driver packs for your system supporting Windows 10.

    Hope you are successful
