    5.25 media dashboard usb 3.0 problems


    I recently installed a Dick Smith wireless mouse which worked fine. However I now find when I connect my Touro portable hard drive to my usb 3.0 ports on the dashboard the mouse freezes and will only activate when I remove the external hd, Doesn't happen if I insert a thumb drive or use the usb 3.0 ports on the rear of the pc.

    SD Card reader failing after Windows 10 upgrade

    Hi All,

    I was using windows 7 for about 8 years, recently I upgraded to Windows 10 and the SD Card reader of my 5.25 media dashboard is no longer working.

    The manufacturer does not provide drivers for this since is standard, curious thing: the USB 3.0 ports in the same device works fine.

    It was no hardware change nor manipulation after this, just windows 10 update.

    Please advise.

    USB3.0 serious performance issue

    Hi,

    after installing Windows 10 Pro x64 I started to experience USB 3.0 performance problems: it starts at 100-130MB/s then after few seconds it goes down to 20MB/s till the end of the transfer.

    With Win 7 Ultimate x64 performance was 130MB/s continuously (same hardware, of course, same connections and same origin and destination).

    I have an expansion card Goobay "USB 3.0 Frontpanel 3.5"/5.25" mit PCIe Controller; Front Panel 3.5"/5.25" 4xUSB 3.0 PCIe".
