Windows 10: 5/6/22 Driver/Firmware Updates - Clicking Problems

Overnight 5/5/22-5/6/22 I received several driver/firmware updates. When I went to use my computer on the morning of 5/6/22 I noticed right away the computer was clicking at random intervals on the far left/center portion of my screen. It was always in the same spot because when my desktop was showing it would click on the same icon. At times it would open the Widget slide-out menu. I rebooted several times to no avail. I disconnected the mouse and keyboard. I removed and reinstalled the driver. I tried my surface keyboard. All to no avail! I then check for further updates an notices a pendi

Resolution Suggestion:

# To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

Everyone that post ids, need just do these steps and you will be good. I kinda tired of keep on uploading the inf. file

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
additional if you want dts audio and others, install it now before next step.
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.
