    I am getting Blue screens on the new laptop and it seems to be software-based but I can't figure out what it is. I have reset windows 3 times and even started with a full factory reset. There is no consistency to them at all. They happen at all hours of the day whether I'm using it or not and each one is for a different reason. I have run all of the tests that I can and even what Dell advised me to and everything comes back clean. Everything is updated from Dell and Windows. Any help is greatly appreciated as this is extremely frustrating.Here they are...1/27 @ 1:00 am - DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS O

    What about MSI GS60 or Lenovo Y50? THey are light, portable and powerful... also both are 15" and in your budget. *Toast :toast:

  3. bsod new laptop KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e)

    Got a brand new laptop, Asus s510uq a week ago, what I did was a clean install of w10 following https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10startfresh but was plagued by these bsod mostly with that error code( a bunch of system thread exception
    not handled). Found all over the web that it should be a driver issue yet the only drivers installed were the asus one which I even updated with the one provided on the asus support page for that laptop. I only had firefox installed but even removing it didn't
    help. To note that I had a lan to usb plug and play adapter which caused one bsod but even removing that didn't help.

    I've also run driver verifier with no success.

    Here are 5 minidumps (I've 5-6 more if needed) a driver list and a msinfo export file (It's in Italian idk if it can be translated in english w/out changing system language)

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
