I'm assuming my boss moved something big to OneDrive and it's not going to sync. Troubleshooting tips say to remove large files, since they won't upload, but I can find no way to find the offensive files. There have been dozens of uploads since then. I did a reset of OneDrive and that did not help. Now, there is just a larger number in there. It used to say 1.5 MG. Now it says 2.5 MG. Good as new! Hah! It has been two days since I reset, and still no movement at all on the stuck files.

    :)

    Large upload to Onedrive

The first step is to purchase or otherwise have that much free space in OneDrive.

The second step is to make sure that no individual file is larger than 10 GB since that is OneDrive's limit for a single file. (OneDrive for Business has a larger cap.)

The third step is to simply drag and drop your files onto the OneDrive interface. That much data will take several days to upload.

  3. OneDrive cashes on files upload.

    Hello

I use Nokia Lumia 1020, and Windows 8.1 with automatic updates ON.

I select picture files (5-10) taken from camera using FILES (program), a select SHARE. Then OneDrive. I select folder where to upload files.

OneDrive start to upload files and crashes....

    Any suggestion?

Uploading files from external drive to OneDrive

I have about 200 GB of files on an external hard drive I want to upload to Onedrive. I can't just copy them to my OneDrive folder as I don't have the room on my main hard drive. Ideally I don't want to do it through a browser as when files are uploaded in
such large batches through a browser it tends to be unreliable, and if it gets stuck a) time is wasted and b) I have to go through every file on OneDrive to make sure it uploaded properly.

Is there any way I can sync the files through the OneDrive app on my PC without having the space to copy them to my main hard drive? Not being able to do this seems to partially defeats the purpose of using cloud storage.

If not, any alternative suggestions would be welcome.
