  1. 50+ HID devices "installed" - keyboard disconnecting incessantly

I HATE windows. I hate it with a passion, because of the sheer amount of stupid, redundant issues they keep imposing on users. I'm not a power user. I can learn how to do things with ease, but there's no way I'd be able to upkeep Linux or Ubnuntu, let alone give a shit about apple products. But here I am, sitting pretty with yet another garbage update that seems to have broken itself and vomited "fixes" everywhere.

Another FORCED update last night for my Surface Pro 7.. didn't want it, couldn't ignore it. EVERY-THING worked flawlessly, zero issue, zero hiccups - before the update.

turned on my surface (which is docked in the Kingston dock) and keyboard immediately had issues. Disconnects, CONSTANTLY. Literally within every 3 seconds. Tried every USB port, nothing changed; tried on different computer, works fine; tried on surface's usb port, same problems as before. Whatever was in the crap update with windows, that's the issue.

When I leave the keyboard alone, after it turns off and on again about 12 times, it does nothing and sits there like nothing is wrong. The moment I start typing, keys will act as though they're stuck (infinite "iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" ect.. ) and then it will disconnect/re-connect a handful of times again, and then stop. Does this every time.

Razer Huntsman TE. Uninstalled drivers, cleaned registry, reinstalled drivers, did nothing to fix any of it.

Device manager detected 8 (EIGHT) generic HID devices under the "Keyboards" tab in device manager. Before this, there were only the TWO I use. Now there is 8, and one of the ones I use (mouse), but the Razer Keyboard is gone.

I'm no longer using the Synapse drivers from Razer, my keyboard works somewhat. Still has issues with sticky buttons (infiniteersssssssssssssssss < JUST LIKE THAT, ffs.. infinite letters*), and sometimes momentarily stops receiving input (freezes or misses a few key-presses). Uninstalling ANY of the faux devices in device manager simply reinstalls them moments later. I've checked the option to not automatically download updatres within dev manager, too.. still automatically downloads, still reinstalls multiple HID "keyboards" moments after uninstalling them.

Just now checked "Human Interface Devices" tab, and there are 57 or so HID devices. Some are copies of already installed/detected devices, grand majority of them are just generic devices, literally the same device description and drivers.

I keep track of device manager. BEFORE this update, just yesterday, everything was FINE. NO hiccups of any sort, not one day, not one single issue, ever.

    Win10 home
    Version 1903
    OS Build 18362.1802

Synapse was up-to-date, every driver prior was up to date, nothing was/is modified or "customized" in any way, shape, or form. What the hell is going on??

    Please, help.

    Hello,

I accidentally deleted my laptop HID Keyboard Device from Device manager. I have tried everything to reinstall but fails. Surprisingly the FN commands work but not the actually typing keys. I have no idea what to do.

Before i deleted the HID Keyboard device, there used to be 3 HID Keyboard devices, now there is only 2.
