Windows 10: 50GB worth of irremovable temporary files

I've realised my 128GB Surface Laptop 2 has been running out of space extremely quickly in the last month or so. After opening a game to play it, I the game, as well as the Discord audio crashed, forcing me to restart. I came back to my laptop telling me that I needed to remove files in order for it to continue running smoothly. After checking my storage, it showed that I had 50.5GB worth of temporary files, which when I tried to clear them, there was only 28.5MB worth that it would allow me to clear. Also every time I try to clear space in another section of my computer, the space I clear immediately gets filled with more temporary files from what it looks like. Note: I have auto-updates enabled.

I would respond as follows:

1. No, I have not installed any third party applications to delete Temporary Internet Files or Temporary Files.

2. Yes, as mentioned in my message, I had chcked the relevant boxes for Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files before performing Disk Clean-up. But still the files won't delete.

Your suggestion is about deleting Browsing history. I don't have any issues with deleting Browsing history. It's about deleting Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files. Browsing history can be deleted via Internet Options or from the option available
in the Hub of Microsoft Edge.

Any help on how to delete Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files would be greatly appreciated.
