    I don't know. If you checked it really was sleeping when you thought it was then I'd suggest running a battery report to see how degraded the battery is. Run and interpret a battery report - my post #2 - TenForums Best of luck, Denis

    the battery is getting drained

    my battery is ok. if my battery was truly dying then it will drain very fast when i unplug the charger. that's not happening and i can use the laptop while it's running on the battery and the battery lasts. the battery draining when the laptop was sleeping is due to a windows issue and not a battery issue
