  1. 54% ram usage with no app open

I am on windows 11. I am getting a 50%-57% ram usage even when I have no app open. I have 8gb ram installed with 7.73gb usable ram and because half the ram is already being used it causes intense lag and very late responds while playing games. Is there a way to decrease the ram usage?

    :)

Only 54% CPU Usage Maximum :'(

    Hello,

The lower the CPU usage, the better. Most applications will not use up more than 50% of your CPU for an extended period of time. To verify, what are the usual applications that you run on your PC? Does your PC slow down at 54%?

If your PC slows down at 54%, check this article: Tips to improve PC performance in Windows 10. Click on

54% ram usage with no app open

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. 54% ram usage with no app open :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
