I was in CleanBoot for several days with no change.
I am not sure where the startup and recovery settings are. I guess Windows lets you save them in case. I am starting to think this is not software.

For startup and recovery settings: in the left lower corner search type system > open system control panel
In case it does not open in that manner open control panel > system and security > system

Then on the left pane click on advanced system settings > on the advanced tab under startup and recovery click on settings > post an image into the thread

Okay. The remaining tests/evaluations are chkdsk /x /f /r on all drives, safe mode evaluation of freezing/hangs, and PSU.

Well, I do not have freezing or hangs. I run the system and I may click a link or do a copy or even insert a usb drive and it reboots. Perhaps the PSU just has a small dip that a dvm would never see. The voltages were measured before, but it could be a small dip that is causing the issue. chkdsk can be run, but I just do not think my SSD has an issue. I am starting to think I will have to just try my wife's PSU!

Well, so far Safe Mode has been OK but I am not sure that it proves that it is software. I mean the load on the PSU is not the same and I sure do not access memory as much. I can take 1 stick out and see what happens in clean boot that is still active.

Please maintain safe mode for as long as you can so that there are several days of testing to make the test more meaningful.

OK..of course I have no sound, etc. I will check and also run chkdsk first. Not sure my printer drivers are active either. Also, I now can post the chkdsk results. It did not ask about partitions.

Correcting errors in the Volume Bitmap.
Windows has made corrections to the file system.

    1) run chkdsk /x /f /r on all partitions
    2) run HD Tune: (free version) and post images of each:
    a) health tab
    b) benchmark tab
    c) full error scan

Well, when I was done I had a hard time booting again and had to try Safe mode again. I am finally on safe mode and will see what happens. When in BIOS I saw my CPU was at 1.040 volts, 3.3 was at 3.36, 5 was at 5.08 and 12 was at 12.384.

System will fail after a few power on hours now. Not sure Chkdsk mattered.

Can I run HD Tune in this Safe Mode? Also, isn't HD Tune FREE Very OLD or am I looking in the wrong place. They also warn that the program can mess up the HDD/SSD.?

Run the free version: HD Tune website
It should be able to run in safe mode.
The health (SMART) and benchmarks are relatively short compared to the full error scan.
The full error scan may take a few hours to complete.

Also run chkdsk /x /f /r on the D: drive

Well, the D drive is only my download and Image drive and is not used at all so I should not have an issue. I can see what HD Tune says.

Still Safe Mode is running for now, but it could still be a PSU issue as the load is different. I know Safe Mode does not load many drivers. Anyway I can see if Full Error Scan is in the Free Version.

Well...I just had the reboots in Safe Mode. I actually had to turn my power off for 10 minutes before it would boot again! I saw one of the CPU core voltages in BIOS went to 1.056 volts and the others were high but then settled down to 1.040. I am starting to think it is either a BIOS rev or PSU issue!

Well, after a whole lot of testing it seems to be the PSU. I am RMA'ing it and Seasonic is sending the latest version as they do not make this one any more!
