    6th Gen Laptop Support Win11 OS


    Hi MicrosoftI have Lenovo T470 Laptop that have 6th Gen Processor and When I tried to Install Win11 via thumb drive its installed on the machine, So I wanted to know is this possible to install win11 on 6th Gen Laptop?I did not perform any Bypass and anything I simply attached thumb drive and install the OS step by step.IntelR CoreTM i5-6300U CPU @ 2.40GHz

    Not at all supported. That's a 6th gen Intel while Win11 needs at least 8th gen.

    We don't work for MS. We're normal users like you, therefore we can't add it to compatibility list.

    Yours is a 6th gen processor whereas Win11 needs at least 8th gen.

    Hardware is not compatible for windows 11; intel core i7-6600U 2.60GHz

    Less chance of adding it to the list, especially since it's a 6th gen guy whereas Win11 needs at least an 8th gen guy.
