Windows 10: 7-8-10

Discus and support 7-8-10 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I see many posts of issues with upgrades.     I see many posts of issues with upgrades. I just wanted to share that its not all bad news with respect to 10 upgrades. I cleaned up my windows 8 install a big, removed some software I no longer used, and upgraded my 8.1 to 10 with no issues. Also like to note this is my original install of win7 from 2010 that i ungraded to windows 8, then 8.1.

    Still not received Win 10 upgrade

    Correct. It is either 7 or 8 to 10. It is not staged 7 then 8 then 10. Just upgrade from 7.

    Can I Transfer the Reserved Windows 10 Upgrade to a different computer, later?

    To add to that question: if there is such an upgrade option at all, does it apply to upgrade from all licenses, or only the ones that themselves allow such upgrade?

    In other words, which of the following situations apply?

    No transferability:

    Windows 7/8 OEM -> upgrade to non-transferable Windows 10

    Windows 7/8 BOX -> upgrade to non-transferable Windows 10

    Maintained transferability:

    Windows 7/8 OEM -> upgrade to non-transferable Windows 10

    Windows 7/8 BOX -> upgrade to transferable Windows 10

    Any transferability:

    Windows 7/8 OEM -> upgrade to transferable Windows 10

    Windows 7/8 BOX -> upgrade to transferable Windows 10
