Windows 10: 99% of the games on my pc won't open

99% of the games on my PC won't open, both from Steam and other sources. This issue started a month ago. I didn't change any settings or download anything new. When I try to open a game, it usually either: gives me a black screen, or it opens and freezes at the menu. In both cases, I need to restart my PC to use it again. With a few games, I've noticed that I can still use my PC although I can't close the game. If I try to use the Task Manager, the game doesn't appear, and all the icons of other apps turn into black squares. If I try to use the Task Manager again, it just crashes. I've tri

microsoft store games won`t play

when I download a game from the Microsoft store it won`t play

the splash screen appears then goes

I have a core i5 with an nvidivia graphics card I tb hdd and 8 gb ram

I have tried the diagnostic for microsoft store and it say cache may need fixing.

 

Windows won`t open an program when using Microsoft user

Windows won`t open an program when I try to open it with Microsoft account user, but when I login with local account, that program opens. I have tried with 2 Microsoft accounts, 1 admin and 1 normal user, and it won`t open in either one of them. What can cause this?
