    AAD Domain Admin & Local Admin

    Hi everyone.

    I'm looking for some advise on AAD and device domain / local Admin.

    My customer has a personal device that is AAD registered, a local Admin account has been created however the credentials we hold are incorrect. So completing anything requiring Admin permission isn't possible.

    My experience and knowledge of AAD is very limited but it seems reasonable to still be able to complete administrative tasks in AAD as you would with an on prem AD environment.

    Can anyone help with this? I am at the point of completing a Windows refresh so that I can create a new local Admin account as part of the setup. If I can get Admin access via AAD that would be preferred.

    Can I create a new local Admin account as an AAD administrator?

    Everything I have researched is all based around AAD Joined devices, I can't seem to find information on AAD registered devices.

    As always, thanks in advance for any advise offered.

    Quick Assist spinning dots on AAD-joined machine

    I have deployed the Quick assist app via my Intune portal. When I try to connect to a standard user on an AAD joined device I get spinning dots and it never connects. But if I am the one logged into both of the devices it connects.

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled it. Run an SFC scan and repair. Tried it in clean boot mode. Turned services on and off. Same spinning dots?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Fingerprint and Pin authentication During OOBE

    Hello,

    I have a question in regards to a Windows 1903 enterprise environment.

    The question is how can we take a vanilla image and disable the fingerprint Windows Hello feature on some devices with fingerprint technology. That is getting a device from OOBE to join a UEM solution during initial setup prior to user credential being provided?

    Is there a registry command to disable the fingerprint authentication?

    Can I add a command to an unattended file to omit this step in the OOBE process?

    Thanks for any help in this area.
