If I were to restore from FCU to CU would I have to reinstall programs and software that I have already installed after the update?

I know it says that any apps and drivers would need to be reinstalled but by apps do they mean Win10 apps from the store or actual programs?

    :)

A bit confused about Java support

Can you tell me if there are restrictions on the use of a MIDlet Manager in comparison with default JME support?

    Thanks.

All programs. You have two choices to go back to CU. Within 10 days of the update you can revert back to previous OS from the advanced troubleshooting menu, if your windows.old folder is still intact. The advanced troubleshooting menu is reached by holding shift key and clicking on restart. Nothing you install after the update will be in windows.old folder.

After 10 days or if the revert option is not available, you'll have to do a clean install.

OF course if you have a disk image created before you upgraded, you could restore that... we strongly recommend using disk imaging routinely - many advantages. E.g. Macrium Reflect (free).
