A device object has been blocking an IRP for too long a time

I have a 5 year old Acer aspire a515-54g laptop with Windows 11 Home. I've been getting the blue screen over the past few weeks. Whenever I play games the app sometimes freezes and I have to restart my laptop to continue running it. Sometimes my laptop will also suddenly disconnect completely from my wifi even though the wifi works on my phone and I won't be able to reconnect. This also sometimes happens on start up and I have to restart my laptop to connect to wifi. My laptop fans also got really loud one time even though I wasn't running anything. Sometimes my laptop will also have a blue sc

AHCI driver causes BSoD with "A device object has been blocking an IRP for too long a time" error

My Win 11 has crashed at least twice due to an error in the AHCI driver "Standard SATA AHCI Controller" version 10.0.22621.608 (storahci.sys). The error messages are the same for both times (extracted with WinDbg from memory dump):

I have an HDD attached to the SATA port, but I did not have any program running on it or any of its files open. I am not sure if this is BIOS problem or driver compatibility problem. Below is relevant system information.

OS: Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.963)

    Motherboard: MAG B650M MORTAR WIFI

    BIOS version: A.21

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7950x
