    AMD Chipset Install Error: 1316, The Specified Account Already Exists

    In Device manager, most of those from that list are signed as Microsoft drivers, probably for compatibility purposes, just like disk drive drivers.
    These are only ones from that list that I can find that is signed as AMD.

    Drive not accessible - "A device which does not exist was specified" error on new M.2 drive ?

    Having a weird error. Set up a new 2tb Samsung 980 Pro m.2 a couple of months ago and its been fine up until now. Happens at random times when i go to try and open anything stored on the drive i get the error
    "'G: is not accessible, a device which does not exist was specified".

    If i go and restart my PC I can get back into all the files and folders fine. I had no problem before but just recently its started happening.
    Anyone got any idea what could be the issue and what could be causing it?

    A device which does not exist was specified

    I ran into this error - A device which does not exist was specified - while trying to access an SSD from Windows console (running a directory listing). I believe the sequence of events leading up to it was the SSD wasunplugged and replugged in after which I reran the listing from a console window already open on the drive.

    The solution seemed to be to navigate to a different drive and back again (in console) and then the listing ran fine without throwing the error.

    Problem solved (for me at least). But I wanted to ask this question so that others could discover a possible solution. I found only one other reference to this error (*) and the thread had been closed.

    * correction: there are many references to this error - I only found a single result because I mistyped a plural: A devices which does not exist was specified
