Windows 10: A: drive in Windows10

When I read a file, or even just list the directory, on a diskette loaded in the A drive, then remove the disk and insert a different one, the File Explorer lists the contents of the PREVIOUS disk, and indeed the previous disk has been copied onto the new one, overwriting its contents! because loading the new disk INTO ANOTHER PC shows this copied content! I've lost some valuable stored files this way. What's going on?? How to prevent it?

To troubleshoot your issue, we suggest doing these following troubleshooting methods:

Method 1

• Turn off your PC.
• Press and hold Shift then turn on your PC.
• Wait for the setup (set up fixes the problem automatically).

Method 2

• Create a media creation tool by following the steps in this
