    This took me 2 days of searching everywhere and finding nothing on this issue; unless I missed something somewhere so please let me know. I went through every GPO one by one to find out which one it was. Come to find out that if you set your setup log file
    to point to any drive other then the default drive then you will get the "System Preparation Tool 3.14 A fatal error occurred while trying to sysprep the machine" error.

    Try if for your self and someone please let me know if this will be fixed. Window 8.1 worked fine for me but I think I remember Windows 7 doing something like this a long time ago but I did not test it.

    Fatal Error

    I've been trying to format my system but right after it finishes formatting I get a Fatal Error during the Windows installation process. That Fatal Error is a Data Error (cyclic redundancy check). I know that it's because of my hard drives, but how do I fix this issue? I have 2 Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA II Hard Drives in RAID 0. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. *Smile A fatal error occurred while trying to sysprep the machine :)
