    A few select sites sites will not accept a valid password


    I have a problem with a few selects sites that render the entered password as invalid although the password is correct. Theses same sites will accept the password on another PC with no problems. I have tried browsers Bing, Edge and Firefox with no results and I believe this eliminate a browser issue. I have no problem with the majority of site requiring passwords.This Dell is less than a month old and I did not have this issue on my old Dell. I am at a total loss as to what the problem is? Any help would be very much appreciated.Dell Inspiron 3910Device name Susie-PCProcessor 12th Gen IntelR

    Hi klaro, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

    See if these steps can help:

    - Remove it from the Never Saved list then delete the site data.

    **To delete site data, go to Edge Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data > See all cookies and site data. Search the website then click the bin icon to remove it.

    - Once that is done, access the website then enter your credentials. (Don't click the login button yet or press Enter key)

    - Click the key icon at the end of the website address in the address bar then click on Got it to save the password.

    - See if the username and password are now in the saved list
