Windows 10: a file could not be opened, renamed and deleted

    a file could not be opened, renamed and deleted


    a user found a PDF file on her desktop folder couldn't be deleted for one month. this file has a very long name so I assumed it's path related, but I couldn't rename its name to shorten the path. If I open it via Adobe PDF viewer, it shows the specified path does not exist. I have checked the file's property security and the user has full control permission. on the same path..user/desktop, I can freely to modify or create other files and folders. I tried to list the folder via command line and the file doesn't exist. the problem is the file is on the file explorer. I used a tricky workaround
