Windows 10: A fix for KB4103721?

I am wondering if there was ever a fix for the Cumulative Update KB4103721 for those who encountered boot up issues after it was installed? I have it on a turned off status because of a cab file that was downloaded for problems like this, and I was going through my list to see what didn't install properly on my update history, and I remembered that this KB had to be turned off so it didn't trigger the black screen of reboot hell.


If there isn't, then it's no big deal, but I figured I would check.

Issues with KB4103721

Hi there

I got an issue with the recent KB4103721. After the update and restart, the Windows Update App keeps on "Status: waiting restart", and it is stacked there (after several restarts), even if other updates still are not installed. I had to apply a Restore and
block KB4103721. I have read other problems with this update, hope Microsoft can issue a fix.

 

Programs not working


In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

Hi

Windows 10 Update KB4103721 update stops my laptop from work or booting

22 time it's installed KB4103721 now and the Hard drive is making sound the Laptop is a Asus X556 2Tb drive

You need to fix KB4103721 asap please send me a new hard drive for all the time ive add to hold the power down and restart in to safe mode

please let me know when you have fixed this and let me know but my hard drive.
