Windows 10: A fix you may find helpful

I have a G15 that is made by Dell and runs windows 11. Yesterday my computer was unplugged and when I plugged it back in it did the bit locker confirmation and startup repair. It then showed extra repair options, but I had been through this before and didn’t want those, so I hit more and restart. Once it restarted, it has stayed on the loading screen for the past day. I contacted Microsoft and while they tried their best, I couldn’t get the fix until I contacted Dell, which makes total sense. I am mentioning this because the only reason I want to post this is so support assistants in the futur

@smoka Great you fixed it and would be interesting to know how you did it. Care to list the basic steps you took to do it so that it can help others stuck in the same situation?

 

Programs not working

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
