Windows 10: A Great Deal of Problems

Right now there are a ton of problems happening to my computer. Right now I can't download anything through browsers or terminals, when I try to it says "Interrupted: Download Error." My file explorer also won't open. When trying to open my file explorer my screen flashes black and then goes back to normal. I also go to check for Windows Updates but instead of being able to download/install any updates it says "Something went wrong. Try to reopen setting later." I have also tried to wipe my PC completely using the "Reset PC" option in recovery options, but it restarts my pc and my pc doesn't t

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

 

My new Opty 165 OC

I'm happy with it. I just wish my second core wasn't so sensitive. I think my first core would be happy at 2.8. My only suggestion is looking on ebay. Sometimes there are some on auction that give you the steppings. That's how I found mine from tr740. He had it on auction w/ steppings. I paid around 165. Great deal, when you know your getting a brand new cpu with a great stepping.

 

How Does This Power Supply Look?

Raidmax is a bad idea, especially if you're wanting to reliably run an 8800GT. The Antec freak listed is great deal! Only if you're willing to take the bite of the MIR's, the Corsair or PCP&C for $80 are a step better.
