    good evening my name is ps wk daniel, I just formatted a machine from windows 7 to windows 10 Gen 2. after I finished the formatting, every other thing is working well apart of the wifi, which is constantly flicking on and of. what can I do to stop the flicking

    Windows 7 virtual wifi authentication mode

    Hello.

    Just a quick question to whoever is using windows 7 virtual wifi capability - when you type in "netsh wlan show hostednetwork", cmd window displays a list of settings for your hosted virtual wifi.

    I was wondering, is there a way to change authentication method from WPA2-Personal to simple WEP ?

    Windows 10 formatting ?

    We upgraded windows 7 to 10. Many crashes and errors after that. So a format and clean install of windows 10. Activated automatically. Zero issues and no more crashes etc etc.
    So I'm inclined to say to just go for it. And if a problem, then use your windows 7 key.

    How to format on Windows 7

    just format from the installer on the windows 7 DVD. the options there when you choose which drive to install on.


    i suggest partiotining the drive, i run with a 60GB C: drive, but then move my user folder to the D: partition - so that when i format/reinstall, my desktop/my docs, etc, dont get lost.
