    A Microsoft Store App Is Taking Double the Space on SSD


    Hey,
    I've recently been playing Phantasy Star Online 2 from the Microsoft Store.

    Short story:
    I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and now it takes up nearly twice as much space on my SSD. I want that space back.

    Detailed story:
    Every once and a while the app won't open. During one of these occasions I went to the App Settings, clicked "Terminate" to no avail of getting it open after. I also hit "Repair" and "Reset" to no avail. I finally got it working again after uninstalling and reinstalling. Here is the problem, the game is 70 Gigs. After reinstalling it, I now have an incredibly large amount of Disk space that is taken up. Almost double what the game is in size. I attempted Disk Cleanup and the cmd /chkdsk command with it's process and both did not give the space back. Please help me get my Disk Space back.

    I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store
