    A network appeared out of nowehere?


    a new network appeared in file explorer by the name of cangia, it’s inaccessible and I can’t access certain folders, saying I have no admin rights, anyone knows whats going on or does “cangia” sound a bell?

    We appreciate you for trying the troubleshooting steps.

    To assist you better, I like to know; what is the make and model of your computer?

    This issue might occur when network drivers are not updated.

    I suggest you try updating your network adapters and check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps:


    • Press Windows + x, select
      Device Manager.

    • Right click the Network Adapter drivers.

    • Select Update driver software.

    Stuck on trying to see my shared files in Network

    Thanks for the suggestion. It didn't look at all familiar so I looked around some more and found what I was missing. I forgot to do the "Add a network location" steps. Now it appears under Network.

    I've tried everything you suggest but no joy I'm afraid. Thank you for trying to help but I think I have to give this up although I hate being beaten.
