    Hello , I just bought a new desktop with the following specs Processor - I3 12TH GENMotherboard - Gigabyte B660MRam - Corsair Vengeance 16gb DDR4SSD - Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500gbCorsair CV550Nvidia Geforce Gtx 1050I have installed windows 10 and now more recently the windows 11 , but i have a similar problem , the PC will just freeze when its idle but not so on a zoom video meeting or a youtube video , the frequencies of the freeze arent similar , happens randomly and especially when no intensive tasks are performed. The system is just about 4 days old now and i have pulled my hair out trying e

    Hi Keith,

    In order for us to find out what causes your desktop to freeze after logging in, we would like to gather more information:

    • Did you make any recent changes on your computer prior to this issue?
    • What other troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
    • When the computer freezes, do you get an error message?

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
