If it makes you feel any better MS is going to be coming out with more "fixes" for some of the problems caused by the recent Anniversary Update. *Rolleyes

It seems to me they could have "fixed" problems before boring us to death with useless updates that don't not work. That update was a sneaky one where I did not notice it.

You could download others browsers, just to give you more choices, incase you need one. I have Chrome and Firefox both installed. I now find myself using FF a lot more than the other ones.
I also am running Windows 10 Pro with all the latest updates, but don't have that many problems.

Man, I no longer remove the update and here is comes again! How to I block it? I am going to see if Chrome works better, IE 11 is really gone to pot.

Well, sticking my forefinger down my throat I am back on Chrome. I like ForeFox too, but the looks he same so will use Chrome. M$ must have added irritating code in IE 11 because it has been gong down hill fro months. Chrome works fast and well, no speaker popping and cracking, not more stall outs, lock-ups and the other crap with IE. I just hate Google.

Good, glad you found a temporary fix. You can turn off the google search in chrome, if that is whats bothering you. I use both Bing and Google. Chrome and FF are both way better than IE11 *Smile

Thanks, I started using Netscape years ago then to whatever M$ installed, so IE 11 was the last iterations and I am just used to it. Getting old. Anyway, IE just began to crumble a little at a time until it bit the dust. Wish I knew what happened.

Well, I checked my two desktops and yo! Both failed to update: Feature update to Windows 10, version 1709. Finally went to MS site and got it for one PC, but it took nearly forever. When is MS going to rehire real software engineers?
