    A new RDP connection to A Windows 10 Education PC 21H2 via VPN fails after the PC is idle for many hours. I am not sure of the exact amount of time involved, I think more than 24 but less than 48 but this may be sporadic. This is a domain-joined PC and I am connecting as a domain and local administrator. After a forced reboot, I can again connect without a problem then the problem repeats again many hours later. A long weekend is always enough to repeat the problem. Power settings on this PC are set to always stay running and never to sleep when on power. PC is connected via 1 Gbps Ethernet

    Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

    I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
