    A notificaton in Action Center does not open apps. Should it?


    Notifications are showing up in Action Center. Some of these notifications are from YouTube. When I click on such a notification from YTube in act center the notification disappears.


    Is that what should happen? Or should my browser open up a YouTube page? According to MS Support on Twitter my default browser should open up the page for the notification. My current browser in Win10 Pro 1903 is Firefox but the same thing happens if Chrome is my default browser. Its happening on multiple computers.

    Open Action Center in Windows 10


    hello Brink, actually it was the setting to display the app's notifications in the action center, the "show in action center" was deactivated for some apps. they showed up but didn't stay long.

    now if only i could add programs that don't have installers to the list of apps in notifications.

    Have you tried the suggestions from the link we shared?

    Let's also take a look at the settings for the Mail app. Follow these steps:

    • Open the Mail app.
    • At the bottom of the left pane, click on the gear icon (Switch to settings).
    • Select Options.
    • Under Notifications, switch on the ticker for Show in action center.

    Update us about the outcome.
