Windows 10: A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. when launching Elden ring game

The following error occurs when i try to run the game elden ring i have verified integrity of game files and also i have latest graphic drivers. The game was running before but i had a hard drive malfunction and when i replaced the harddrive and insatlled the game this error is occuring. I bought the game on steamelden ring has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available

I suggest you to uninstall the Display Adapter drivers from Device manager and install the latest drivers from the manufacturer website and check if it helps.

• Right-click on the Display Adapter listed and click on ‘Uninstall’.

Hi,

everything was working fine then suddenly my game stops working (steam game).

The game starts fine, main menu comes up normally but whenever i try to go into an actual game a windows message pops up and says

"a problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

then it just crashes and nothing comes up and it keeps saying this message whenever i try to go back into the game.

ive downloaded and installed the latest drivers for my laptop, updated steam, updated the system graphics card, ran anti virus software and deleted a c ouple of things, restarted the laptop several times and still not working (same message pops up and closes
the game)

please advise what i can do to fix this!
