Windows 10: A question regarding whole drive permission / ACL

Hello,I was wondering what will be the response of windows -If a whole drive that has only explicit Admin Full-control with a password protected account from a pc A, is detached and re-attached to another pc B -Case I - having same User as AdminCase II - having same user not with Admin privilegesCASE III - not having the user — by the same user I refer to the name of the user. UID could be limited and unique to the system, if that is so please mentionAdditionally, the drive has no encryption and in NTFS format. And the Drive is non boot drive.By this question, I want to understand if the

1. May I know the exact error message?
   
2. Have you shared all hard drives or any particular folder within the particular hard drive?
   

Since you have mentioned that you are getting error related to permission issue, please refer to the troubleshooting steps provided by “Azee N” dated June 2nd 2010 on
Providing permission to drive and try
providing permission to the drive.

If the issue still persists, we would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to re-map the drive.

1. Disconnect the drive by right click on the drive and select disconnect (if the drive is mapped).
   
2. Then re-map the drive by referring to Map a network drive
   and check if it resolves the issue.

Only a idea:
An access control list (ACL), with respect to a computer file system, is a list of permissions attached to an object. An ACL specifies which users or system processes are granted access to objects, as well as what operations are allowed on given objects. Each entry in a typical ACL specifies a subject and an operation. For instance, if a file object has an ACL that contains (Alice: read,write; Bob: read), this would give Alice permission to read and write the file and Bob to only read it.

 

How to use powershell and set-acl to replicate permissions across folder structure and for specific extensions?

There are a set of folders and subfolders in windows containing *.dxf (many), *.add (many) and shapes.dat (1 per folder) files. These are part of a folder structure required by a software.

I need to recursively set permisions for all *.dxf and *.add to read-only while leaving individual shapes.dat files with write permission.

In the follwing link something is described that seems to help, but I see no way to refactor no enable my operation.
