Windows 10: A recent Windows 10 update causes Vocaloid 5 to stop working

A recent Windows 10 update causes Vocaloid 5 V5 to stop working.I have done all of the usual things and nothing works run a full antivirus scan, uninstall V5, restart PC, reinstall V5, restart PC-I did this in regular mode only as will not work in safe mode, etcHowever I did find on a Vocaloid 5 forum there is a suggestion that this could be related to a Windows 10 netframe update. I don't know anything about that-but what I do know is that it worked fine for years and then suddenly stopped working about a week or so ago, and your OS keeps updating all the time so it is definitely related

Windows update caused my keyboard to stop working

The keyboard failure probably happened coincidentally with the update rather than being caused by it. You can find out like so:

• Turn the machine on.
• Wait until the spinning circle appears, then press the power button for 10 seconds to turn the laptop off.
• Repeat the above steps three times. This will get you into Repair Mode.
• Go to advanced options, then select the Command Prompt.
• Check each and every keyboard key.

I think you will find that the problem keys still do not work, even though the current mode is not affected by the recent update. You probably have to replace the keyboard.

 

Creative X-Fi Soundcards and Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709 = Complete Disaster / Not Working

Thank you for trying to help , i did tried your suggestion but it did not work :/ , nothing seems to make it work on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709. In the meantime i have bought a new SoundBlasterX AE-5 and it did installed flawlessly , no problems whatsoever. it is up to Creative ( drivers ) and Microsoft ( bug fix ) to fix this huge bugs with Audio.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
