Windows 10: A required I2C connection and/or interrupt resource was missing.

I am using Lenovo ideapad 330 and in this the keyboard driver is not listed in the device manger. the keyboard option only shows up when I join the wired keyboard. I have tried using the registry also but does nothing. on the human interface devices there is the exclamation sign on the ELAN EzTouchFilter

I have tried suggestion 2 and could not get passed the c:\windows\inf step.

I have just tried suggestion 1 and did not have the DHCP listed. When trying to set Windows discovery resource publications; SSDP and UPnP to automatic I was told "can't start on local computer".

So I still have no connectivity to the Internet or my local network.

I have had an Apple laptop for about 14 years and have never had this kind of problem with it. It still connects to Internet and I use it mainly for email.

How do I fix this problem given I can't connect my Windows 10 laptop to the Internet?

inside the windows registry is the most common reason behind this error.

Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run Internet Connection Troubleshooter

find and fix the problems with connecting to the internet or to websites.

• Click on Start; in the start search type
  Troubleshooter and hit Enter.
• In the left pane, click on View all.
• Click on Internet Connection Troubleshooter.
• Select Advance and click on
  Run as Administrator.
• Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Step 2: Check the following services are enabled.

• Press Windows Key + R on the keyboard and type
  services.msc, Services window gets opened.
• Check if these services are enabled:
  
  - TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service
  
  - Wireless lan
  
  - DHCP
  
  - DNS Client
  
  - Function Discovery Resource Publication
  
  - SSDP Discovery - UPnP Device Host

3. To start the service and set it to automatic, follow these steps:

• 
  Right-click each of the services listed above and click on Properties.
  
• 
  Click the General tab, and then, next to Startup type, select Automatic.
  
• 
  Click Apply, and then click Start.
  

Restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
