  1. A single font displaying incorrectly after moving from Win8.1 to Win10

I recently moved from Windows 8.1 to a clean install of Windows 10. To ensure I don't lose any fonts in the process, I copied all TTF and OTF files from Win 8.1 AppData/Local and have now reinstalled them individually through the windows font installer. For some reason, out of all of my fonts, a font called "Estrangelo Edessa" isn't displaying properly. Below is what it looks like, in both the installer and in Word 2013:And this is what it should actually look like:It seems to be borrowing two different typefaces to display letters and numbers, with odd letter-spacing most noticeable for cap

    :)

  2. Newly installed fonts not displaying

I have installed fonts onto my new Windows 10 computer.

They are listed in the font list, but do not display in WORD or PPT. If I type them in a cell in EXCEL however they do display properly.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled them. I have run repairs on my entire Office group. I have restarted the computer.

I have read of problems with installed fonts doing this on Mac, but I am running Win10.

    Hello,

I found these steps in this forum from back in 2010:

    Step 1:

I would suggest you to try these steps and check whether it helps in fixing your issue.

Open font settings by clicking on start, click on control panel, and then click on appearance and personalization, under fonts click on change font settings. And select the font size.

    Step 2:

If you’re trying to change windows font size then please follow the steps below:

    To change Windows fonts

    1. Open Appearance Settings by clicking the Start button and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type window color, and then click Change window colors and
    metrics
    .

    2. In the Item list, click the part of Windows that you want to change the font for. For example, if you want to change the menu font, click Menu in the list. Then, make any of the following changes:

    · In the Font list, click the font that you want to use.

    · In the Size list, click the font size that you want.

    · In the Color list, click the font color that you want.

    3. Repeat these steps for each item that you want to make changes to, and then click OK.

    Does that help?
