Windows 10: a sorta odd problem with a brand new out of the box usbc hub

So i got a brand new J5Usb hub. its a Pnp with SD, micro SD, 2@type a 3.1 ports 1 usbc, HDMI and audio jack. it works with my other devices but wont work with my new pc. and the other devices also work with the usbc hub on my laptop, ive tried the whole 9 yards from restart uninstall restart to a complete reinstall of windows and chipset, but like if i plug it into my phone and then into the pc it takes the pc screen like it would a monitor but if i plug it into the pc first nothing. and there is no way my android 12 is top dog for hosting the device. i mean its sucks to be out a $80 but im r

PQ1 usbc hub on my asus laptop has stopped working

now I need to charge laptop by removing pq1 hub connector which provides only access for usb and hdmi drives. I just installed three windows updates with restart, no benefit to problem. I just installed one suggested hardware fix, still no benefit to problem.

has Microsoft abandoned support for PQ1 USBC hubs? my laptop is only USBC so a working hub is imperative.

Cooling problem amd athlon xp
