Windows 10: A strange folder in System32

There's a folder called "sru" in System32. It was created past night. I think it may be a virus. There's some other log files, and some file is called "SRU1234C". This looks kinda suspicious. Does it come by default with Windows?

• Copy nvlddmkm.sys in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_5518e59e8d3b48f4\ to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ and replace the existing one.

No that is not normal,

You should see:

System

System32

SystemApps

Capital S on all folders

Can you open the system32 folder set the view to list from the view ribbon and provide a screenshot of the contents of that folder

 

System32 too large

You are correct the Whute folderis jsut a representaton of a collection of files, like on the C drive.

This is very strange, the side by side comparison is an exact match, but your Windows folder should be approx. 2Gb in size, in TreeSize if you close up that white 'folder' and scroll down past the folders can you see another version of those files listed in System32 in TreeSize?
