Ok so this morning my pressure sensitivity was working just fine. Until I installed Wacom's latest driver for their Bamboo Ink. After I discovered that it took away my pressure sensitivity, I tried to undo the problem. I deleted the driver and restarted my device, but nothing changed. Both of my stylus's were affected - the Bamboo Ink and the Surface Pro 3 stylus. I could not use pressure sensitivity in either of them. I tried things in Paint Tool SAI itself, like changing click detection to 0%, but nothing worked. I assumed it was just driver issues and kept trying to update my drivers.

So the driver notes that it does not support any version of the Microsoft Surface. I have a surface pro 3. It does note however that you can use Bamboo Ink on surface devices by switching modes on the stylus. This is done by pressing the two buttons on the side of the stylus simultaneously for several seconds until it lights up. So I just figured I could do that, I already switched the mode on my stylus.

However now I am unable to install the wacom driver as it doesn't recognize a "tablet" on my surface pro 3? I thought this was a driver for the bamboo ink...which is a stylus not a tablet?

This whole process makes no sense and I'm really confused. I don't understand how this affected my surface pro 3 stylus either?

finding a driver for Wacom Graphire tablet

I had the same issue with a Wacom Graphire and Windows 10 Pro x64 using that driver. The fix was to use the older, recommended Wacom driver from the web-site (v.6.05-7) which works fine (even though it's for Vista!). You can grab it from the Graphire Support page at Wacom Graphire Support

  3. Wacom Tablet plugged into USB causes computer to hang during start up

HP Omen with windows 10 build v1703 from a Fresh Start install and only HP latest drivers installed.

When wacom tablet is plugged in to laptop computer will not boot. Just a blank screen. Usually Omen logo shows at startup but startup stalls before that step.

    • BIOS is not configured to boot from USB
    • Latest wacom driver is installed
    • Driver has been reinstalled multiple times
    • Wacom service will not allow startup set to automatic delayed

Also tried on Surface Book and Surface Pro both with v1703 and same wacom driver yielding same results, i.e. eliminates possibility of an HP BIOS.

"A supported tablet was not found on the system" - Wacom error message on the Surface Pro...

Using cheap Surface Pro clone as a graphics tablet input? (similar to Wacom Cintiq)

Is it possible to use one of those cheap Surface Pro clones (such as a Chuwi Surbook, Chuwi Hi13 etc.) as a graphics tablet input on a Windows 10 PC similar to a Wacom Cintiq?

What I want to do is use the laptop/desktop to run all my processes (e.g. web browser, OneNote) and have the OneNote window displayed on the tablet, so I can use it almost as a digital notepad that is running on the laptop/desktop, but displayed on the tablet. That way I can use the tablet screen as a second monitor to the laptop/desktop, but with pen support. Is it possible to do this over USB, or if not, over Wifi?

    Thanks
