Windows 10: A TV series I purchased called "Forever" no longer plays.

I purchased a TV series on "Movies & TV" called "Forever" that no longer plays on Windows or Xbox. I do not have this problem with any other movie or TV series. I have been trying to get support from Microsoft for a couple of months and they don't seem to know how to address this issue. There used to be support for this app but that does not appear to exist anymore. A consumer can still buy movies and TV series on the app but there is no support. Even the categories on this page do not allow you to specify the "Movies & TV" application, so you are left with picking a category that does

Microsoft Films & TV Not Playing Purchased Content

I've started using Microsoft Films & TV, but I'm not having much luck - When I try to play a purchased movie, the player starts up, but just buffers with the title of the movie in the bottom left corner. After a few minutes of loading, the buffer symbol
stops and the app freezes. It worked fine for the first 24 hours or so.

I've tried multiple suggested solutions already:

• Resetting the app in Settings.
• Uninstalling the app using Windows Powershell.
• Restarting the computer.
• Wifi off and on (both PC side and at the router).

Purchases play fine on my Xbox One S, so I can assume the problem is a local one.

Does anyone know what might be wrong? Any help greatly appreciated!

 

Can't download tv series

• Are you able to download TV series before going to Philippine?
