Windows 10: A virtual second screen?

Hello everyone,

I have a application that allows me to stream gameplay from one device within a network to another. I want to use this application to 'give' my desktop 2 screens. I couold use the desktop like normally, but also connect my laptop via the application. The thing is that with this application it would normally duplicate the gameplay from one desktop to the second one. The application has a function that allows you to expand the 2 screens, allowing you to use them both while not copying each other.

This website says I should have a second monitor hooked up to the host PC. I used to have 2 monitors, but I wouldn't be trying this trick if I still did. I was wondering if there is a way in Windows 10 where you make some kind of virtual second desktop which I can 'give' a virtual monitor. This way my Windows 10 would think I have 2 screens and I would be able to use the application like described in the link at the bottom.



I hope my English was clear enough, i had a rough time explaining exactly what I was looking for!

Project Second screen constantly appearing.

Let us know some more information so that we can diagnose and troubleshoot the issue in a better way:

• what is the exact issue that you want us to help with? Do you want to get help in projecting a second screen or to remove the popup?
• As you've said " I tried unsuccessfully to project a screen", do you wish to project a second screen currently?
• What happened exactly when you tried to project a second screen? Did you receive any error message or any error code?

The popup comes as the system might not be able to detect the monitors. I suggest you to update the Display drivers, it may force the system to detect the available monitors. Here is the steps:

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.
• Locate the driver and expand the driver icon.
• Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
