    A weird chime keeps playing on my computer at random intervals every so often.


    I'm not sure what is causing this but, I keep hearing a chime playing and it's incredibly irritating because I cannot for the life of me find out why. I've never heard this sound before, all my peripherals are plugged in properly and while going through all of the windows 10 system sounds I couldn't find anything that sounded like it. It even played as I was writing this paragraph. I NEED help because I'm not sure how much longer I can take this... The sound in question

    What is this chime sound that keeps playing at random intervals?

    There is a chiming sound that plays at random intervals on my computer and I cannot figure out for the life of me where it is coming from. Anyone know the origin of this sound?

    edit: Apologies for the poor sound quality. Recorded the sound on my phone through my speakers.

    Weird chime when charging N8

    Whenever I plug in the N8 for charging, after seems like random number of seconds, a loud chime comes up even if I'm on Meeting profile and this seems random and annoying. What is that chime? What does it mean?
