Windows 10: a white screen overlays my login screen.

Hi,

A white screen sits on top of my login screen. The laptop is not frozen. I can see my login page through if. But the login page is not accessible. I can just view it. How can I get out of this trap?

N.B. browser is FIREFOX

goto CONTROL PANEL/ USER ACCOUNTS then you have to remove all the other accounts except for the one you logon with....then restart...it should bypass the login tho it will still show the screen for it...it will continue to load windows...good luck*Rockout :rockout:



edit:: it asks for a login when there are more then one accounts..or if you set a pw to your login name...

is there anyway to stop windows going into the login screen wen i boot up and leave my pc for more then 10mins?i have no password set and im the only user!!

Ok, let the powershell command run overnight
If the command didn't solve the problem, the try these steps in order:

1. Disable superfetch service
   • Empty the following folder c:\Windows\Prefetch\
   • Restart the computer
   • Si ça ne marche pas, passer à l'étape 2;
2. Disable the AppXSvc from the registry: change the "Start" key value from 3 to 4 (see the screenshot)
