Windows 10: A wifi network that functions independent but utilized by 2nd network?

Can I to setup a wifi network that functions independent of my home network? Something I can connect to, manage and utilize with the devices on my home network, but not have its data spillingover and slowing down my home network?

The reason for me wanting to do this is:

I would like to keep camera traffic off my home network. So, I’m considering setting up two PoE dome cameras on a separate WIFI network with a Synology NAS. I'm thinking I can (somehow =bridge or something else) connect to the network and monitor it without having the traffic spill over to my main home network.

Here is the equipment I'm thinking of using:

-Synology DS216
-Cisco WAP4410N Wireless-N PoE router
-Two Crucial 250GB SSD drives for the NAS
-One Outdoor IP PoE dome camera and one indoor wifi camera

Anyone have any input, advice, how to do this or improvements?

Windows 10 sharing wifi from desktop to other devices using 2 network adapters

I use my desktop to share media and internet to other devices (laptop, tablet, xbox360, ps3, phones, etc) I just upgraded to win10 from Win7 and can no longer use the application for setting my 2nd wifi adapter to AP mode (Realtek RTL8187-Realtek wireless
LAN Utility), the application says it's in AP mode but any device I try to connect will not be assigned an ip address. When checking Network and Sharing Center only the wifi card that is connected to router is listed under active networks, when I try to add
2nd network for the 2nd wifi card, the "set up new network" option scans for hardware and just hangs indefinitely. how do I add 2nd network manually?

 

N8 Internet Priority Problem

I notice a similar issue. Even though my home and work WiFI WLAN are each set to 1st and 2nd priority respectively, my 3rd priority GSM network is used even while my Nokia N8 is actively connected to one of the WiFi networks!



Seriously!?!? What's that about?



It was a tough call between the iphone 4 and the Nokia N8 even though I've enjoyed my past 3 Nokia mobiles that I've owned. But now that I've purchased the Nokia N8 I'm having my doubts. Come on Nokia, I paid $400 for this phone, take a page from Apple
and regulate your apps better to ensure they utilize the functionality you've already built into the phone's firmware.
