Windows 10: A windows update removed/changed my accounts, and my files (mostly photos) are locked such...

My account taskbar was set back to its original state, but my desktop still has some pre-update programs and local printer is present.

And I can only locate my photos through the folders users/account/windows diagnostics 8.1 . The photos are there but “locked”. Any ideas to correct this?

Remove account


I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

   net user test /del

 

Lock screen photo

To change the
lock screen photo, follow these steps:

• 
  Go to
  Settings.
  
• 
  Choose
  Personalization.
  
• 
  On the left side of the screen, click on
  Lock screen.
  
• 
  In the
  Background, change it to
  Picture.

You can also use the Photos app to set a different lock screen image. Follow these steps:

• In case a different app is set to open your images by default, right-click on the image instead, choose
  Open with then select Photos.
• Once you have the image open using the Photos app, click on the See more button (

• Choose Set as.
• Select Set as lock screen.
