    My 92 year old Mother who is in another state is having computer problems. It appears she has entered the wrong pin and is locked out. She says she enters the A1B2C3 but it doesnt help. I see info on how to login on a Windows phone but not for a computer. Can you advise in detail what she needs to do so I can get her back online>> I appreciate your help.

    Removing the A1B2C3 lock screen

    Hello,

    I am unable to find a setting to remove the A1B2C3 lock screen. I end up locking myself out of the phone several times a day. It has become so frustrating that I waste time and effort every day. As a result I have had to remove the PIN code. Obviously
    this is an additional risk I have to take. It would be great to be able to remove that
    A1B2C3 lock screen so that I can lock my phone.

    As of a week ago, I have been receiving the error message, "You've entered an incorrect PIN serveral times. To try again enter A1B2C3 below." The problem with that is that I have never entered my PIN incorrectly and am the only one that utilizes my desktop. I have ran malware/virus scans and have turned up zero discrepancies. Additionally, I reinstalled Windows 10 (and activated) a month ago after upgrading my motherboard, processor, and memory. So why is it asking me to enter in this letter/number combination EVERY time despite never having entered in my PIN incorrectly? This is rather annoying and essentially a two-step authentication factor, of sorts, that I did not ask for. Is anyone else experiencing this?
