Windows 10: Ability to connect to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth occasionally disappears on my device

Whenever I use my laptop, it will occasionally lose the ability to connect to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. I'll attach some images of what it looks like when working and not working. the images will be in a reply to this post as it will not let me attach images in the original post for some reason.It's as if one minute it's working fine, then another it's as if my computer never had the ability in the first place and the options in the setting menu and dropdown menu also disappear.I've tried everything from re-installing the drivers, checking for updates, and looking through the power-saving settings

Wi-Fi disappearing at random times.

Hello. So I did the steps. And 2 minutes after doing the steps my Wi-Fi disappeared again. The thing is my home Wi-Fi only disappears from the list but other Wi-Fi network's don't.

I understand your concern that you are unable to access Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as there are no drivers under Device Manager after upgrading to Windows 10.

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated drivers after upgrading to Windows 10.



Try few of the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.



Step 1: I suggest you to run
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

Hardware and Devices troubleshooter
checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

Steps:

• 
  Press Windows
  key from the keyboard, type Troubleshooting and select it.
  
• 
  Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
  
• 
  Select the Hardware and Device
  options from the list.
  
• 
  Click Next to run the
  Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.
  
  
  

Step 2: I suggest you to install the latest drivers and updates for your device after upgrading to Windows 10.

This will help you to find the drivers for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and may help in installing the drivers.

Steps:

1. Connect to the internet (Wired internet connection).

2. Press
Windows key and type updates.

3. Click on
Check for updates.

4. Under
Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.

5. Try to install the updates being shown.

Wi-Fi Connectivity

After Windows 10 upgrade on my HP P7-1420t I lost my ability to connect to Wi-Fi.

Network Adapters listed in Device Manager: Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, Wan Miniports - IKEv2, IP, IPv6, L2TP, PPPOE, PPTP, SSTP and Network Monitor. Any help in regaining my Wi-Fi connectivity would be appreciated.
